Our good intentions to update this website have not been very fruitful, and we want to repent!
It is hard to believe four years have passed, and mighty quickly, since we returned to Spanish Fork from Denver. We have remodeled our home, lived with children, watched our land be torn up to build a subdivision, and spent 17 months on a mission in Salt Lake City - Family and Church History Mission on Temple Square. We lived east of the Conference Center and walked every day to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to work out our days. We worked in the Records Processing Zone (where Pres. Thomas became a zone leader to 70 missionaries) and we corrected names that came from the stakes of the church and prepared them for final use by the temples of the church all over the world. It was a wonderful and inspiring place to be, but found ourselves extremely tired at the end of the day. We were able to come home some weekends to check on our home and all the commotion around it, which made it a good place for us to serve. We hope to return this next year as church service missionaries a few days a week to the same mission, driving to Salt Lake and even doing some of our own Family History.
We are in the same home but with a different address since building is going on all around us. We think of you and pray for you that your lives are fulfilling as you continue to find the Lord's will in your life. Please continue to let us hear from you. We have had lots of wedding announcements, not many baby announcements, some graduation announcements for which we are grateful. Please continue and we will work harder at responding.
