Would anyone like assistance with their family history?
I would enjoy helping you do some research and prepare names for the temple.
No cost. Just send me your paf file or just some names with dates and places. I'll email back whatever I find.

Hi All,
Kimberly Payne (kimberlypayne -at- cox -dot- net) would like to know what is the closest chapel to Uvita? What time do they meet? They visit this area often with their family and friends.
You can either reply to this message on the website or reply directly to Kimberly at the above address.

Just thought maybe some of you might like to know that we are looking forward to serving another mission soon. We have now been called to serve in the Madrid Spain Temple and enter the MTC on May 8. We are waiting for visas, hope they arrive by 8 May. Our family are looking forward to having us in Europe and look forward to escorting us home in November 2007. We returned to C.R. Jan 9-16, 2005, and had a great reunion with many friends there, it was good to see all who are still faithful in church attendance in Guapiles & Pococi. The Acostas are still doing great, will be home in July, reluctantly. New Mission Pres. was announced in last week's Church News.

Hola Grupo,

A 40th year reunion for President Brewerton has been rescheduled until the September-October General Conference period. The tentative date is September 29th.
Original plans were to hold it in conjunction with April conference. However, the Brewertons will be unavailable.
Further details regarding time and location will be provided during September.
We want to get the word out to as many returned missionaries as possible. Please inform your friends from your mission with whom you are in contact.
If you plan on attending, please e-mail me at paradise_kwaj -at- hotmail -dot- com.
Regards.

Hi everyone! How are you doing? Man, it has been a few years now I came back from my mission, and wanted to know about all you guys, and is good to see that a few of my companions are allready registered, Cristley, Contreras, Aiu, and a few others. I been married for almost 5 years now, have a son that is one year and 3 months now, his name is Jose Ignacio. Oh well what can I say life has changed a lot for all of us I think, I'm a web developer and Contreras told me about this page, been doing this for 5 years now, and I'm doing great, have the blessing of a work from home so I can see my kid grow every day. I hope to hear more from all!
Love,
Elder Fonseca

We are visiting Costa Rica in a few days. We would love to contact a member or two that speaks English, while we are there (we are trying to learn Spanish, but have a long way to go.) We are strongly considering retiring in Costa Rica, with our 8 year old son, and want to soak up all the info we can while we are there. If anyone serving now, or has served, can help with a contact, it would be much appreciated.Thank you so much.

Does anyone have contact information for Julio & Ines Saenz. They lived in Barrio Jardin up to May of 2000 when I last visited them. I heard they moved, but cannot find their new information. Most missionaries know him as the Zapatero who also makes leather scripture covers.

I'm proud of my female missionaries. I encorage all girls to prepare for your mission, there is lots to do for the Lord and Men alone can't do it. Kisses and many prayers for you Female Missionaries.

Does anyone remember Sister Maria A. Ponciano? She served in the Central American Mission from 1970 to 1972. At that time the mission was Panama, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama. I'd appreciate any info. Thanks

Queridos Hermanos y Hermanas,
Ciao,
Dewey J. Levie

LDS QUOTE: |
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
