Just a little note. I am well into my second year of teaching 7th graders here in Wenatchee. The time is flying by at a pace I can't seem to keep up with. I teach many bilingual kids. This year I am also involved in many (too many???) community/school related activities. Needless to say, I keep very busy. I am most pleased with the fact that I love going to work everyday (even if the kids [remember they are 12 and 13] are a bit squirrelly at times). My spanish is suffering somewhat because most of my kids want to learn english and not the other way around. Oh well. I look for opportunities to speak it when I can. In a migrant community the opportunities come up often. Right now, I am attending a very small young single adult branch, here in Wenatchee. They keep everyone busy.
