Open house at the Mormon Church
For the next week, those in Santo Domingo will have the opportunity to visit the
impressive US$25 million temple built on Av. Bolivar by The Church Of Jesus Christ
Of Latter-day Saints. The temple will be open to the public through Saturday 9
September. Thereafter, it will be closed for non-members of the congregation.
Visits are welcome from 10 am to 10 pm Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 5
pm on Monday. The temple is closed on Sunday. The temple, built on a 26,000
square meter plot, is located at Av. Bolivar 825 corner Genesis Street, Ensanche
Los Robles (next to the National Music Conservatory.) Free admission.
