Presidents: William "Jack" Mitchell (1978 - 1981) | Served: 1978 - 1980 | Areas Served: Quito, Guayaquil, Milagro, Duran, Manta, Portoviejo, Libertad, Santa Elena & Ancon, Pinas & Zamora | Companions: James Matthew Snyder | Comments: I started in the Language training mission with our district called Quevado. My first comp was Matt Snyder. Later Snyder and I were given John Cluff as a comp and we finished out our LTM time as a three-some. Members of the Quevado district were Sisters Susan Vineyard and Sarah Slade, and Elders Mark Stone, Gerry Prince, Matt Snyder, Jeffrey Hite, and Mark Hall. I arrived in the Quito mission under the leadership of President Ferrell and, not long after, was sent to the coast to be in the new Guayaquil mission under the direction of President Mitchell. During my mission I had lots of cool comps, Green, Gutierrez, Beach, Thomas, Hall, Law, Jenkins, Riveras, Wright, Flores, Benitez and others (I wasn't much of a jounal keeper). Some of the other cool guys I knew, Dar Davis, Leavitt, Rigby, Gourley, England, Head, Looch, Murrey, Hirrlinger, Abbinanti, Manning, Lewis, Walker, Wells, Jones, and others (I'm sure I'll think of more). I'm still in Blackfoot, Idaho, and teach seventh grade literature. I |
