2011 February - just got back from a week in Heathrow/Hanslow/Woking (even saw the Martian). Project in Wales is moving forward. Will be in Pembroke Wales area 100% from May to October. Family will be joining me from June to August. Looking forward to showing them around a bit. Send me an email for more details.
2010 November - just got back from a three day trip to England/Wales for work. It was good to be back, even if it was very briefly. Surprised by the English & Welsh on the road signs. Had to pay a toll to get into Wales, but none to leave.
I am busy with a wife (life) and 3 girls (1994, 1997 & 2000 models) and 1 boy (2002 model). We have moved lots, and put on over 7,000 miles in our married life. We have lived in Calgary, AB; Houston, TX; Richmond, BC; Cessford, AB, Rosemary, AB (where Michael Easter's parents were our hometeachers), and now the longest time in Sugar Land, TX. Served as Stake Missionary, WML, in EQ Presidency, Asst Stake Clerk, Bishopric Counselor (2 different wards), and currently as Ward Clerk (my wife is YW President).
Would love to hear from anybody on how they are doing. And yes, Teeter I was your companion - I found the transfer papers to prove it! In June 2003, I ran into Sister Schmidl (younger sister of Elder Schmidl) serving a mission in Canada Vancouver Mission -- small world. Thought I would put up a family picture (not very good, but with 4 children, you take the best you can get!). 2005 on the move back to Houston, Texas (Sugar Land to be specific).
