Comments:
Greetings from Littleton, Colorado to all FJM "alumni"! Returning from my mission I went to BYU and a couple of years later met my wife Teresa, who had recently returned from her mission in Arcadia, CA. In April 1994 we married, and later finished BYU and went to law school at the University of Colorado (real estate law). Teresa and I have 5 wonderful children--three beautiful girls--Morgan 13, Madison 11, Jordynn 9 and two handsome boys--Connor 7, Ethan 6 (Don't worry--the children get their looks from their mother's side--not their father's--thank goodness!). I have been very, very blessed and feel incredibly fortunate! Currently serving as bishop of our ward.
Many, many thanks to the wonderful companions and missionaries who strengthened my testimony, and helped and influenced a "rough stone rolling" on my mission! My mission was THE formative period of my life. I am very, very grateful to my companions--all 18 of them (that may be a record)--Quinn, "Texas" Harris, Douglas, Stover, Weeks, Lillie, Hunt, Dorny, Torgerson, Wilcox, Larsen, Bullard, Gearheart, Phillips, Snyder, Bullard (again--I love you "Bull-nut"), Hadfield, Hullinger and King--thank you for your patience and impact on me! Many thanks also to my unofficial companions of Bentin, Kehl, Denne, Mayall, Stewart, Rennecker, Holbrook, Carr and many others! When not involved in family, church or work, I still enjoy hunting particularly turkeys (I can already see the jokes coming--It takes a turkey to "catch" a turkey, etc.) and gardening. I'm so grateful for the Gospel, the Savior and the opportunity to serve in the FJM! Best wishes and I'd love to hear from you! Thanks, Duane.
