Right after the mission, I went to school at Weber State University and met and married my husband a year later. Had my first baby, Kathryn, Oct. 1996. Scott moved to Texas while I stayed and finished my Associates degree. Those three months were rough without him! Moved to Carrollton, Texas to a great ward. We bought a house in Lewisville and I had my second baby, Kira Hope. Had a lot of problems with my back, had my third baby, Austin, last year and also had back surgery six months later. If it's any surprise, I have had all music callings here. I am currently the Young Women's music specialist, meaning I get to go to Girl's camp Yeah!!! One of the greatest things is having a few mission compadres here; President and Sis. Jacobsen at the Dallas Temple until last year, Sis. Walser for a while who is now in Colorado. Sis. Walton and Elder Mickle are in my ward. And Sis. Mortensen is in San Antonio. We visited the mission when my oldest daughter was two. TOO FUN! Stayed with the Barkers and |
