The day after I left the mission field, I baptized my brother and met my future wife. A few months after I met her, she left to serve in the Australia Melbourne Mission. We've been married since Feburary, 1996 and have three girls; Amanda, Rebecca, & Katrina. Rebecca was baptized on Father's Day, 15 June 2008. She'd been impatiently waiting for months and when the day (finally) came, she could barely contain herself. It was one of the best Father's day presents I could have received.
I'm a Professional Land Surveyor (P.L.S.) licensed in California and Lora is a Stay-at-Home Mom. We moved to Kerman, California, (about 15 miles west of Fresno) in 2003. I still spend as much time on two wheels as possible, although, the bicycle doesn't get as much ride time as the motorcycle (my daily commuter). Lora does custom scrapbooking and makes custom cards and invitations. She also does occasional contract work for a local papercrafts store doing more of the same. The kids are kids and they are great at doing what they do.
I'm presently serving as the Ward Executive Secretary and Lora serves in the Ward Young Women's Presidency. |
