Sherrie and I were thrilled to learn that our son, Elder Jason Hibberd, was called to serve in the Florida-Jacksonville Mission. For me it was especially exciting, because his mission is part of the old Alabama-Florida Mission where I served from Jan. 1972 to Jan. 1974.
Pres. Smith has told Jason that he will have the opportunity to serve in Chiefland, FL, which is a town I served in while on my mission. We look forward to the time when Jason will be there.
Jason is the youngest of three children and the first to serve a mission. He is an uncle to his sister, Andrea's son, Tynon. His brother Jonathan, is still single.
Jason's mother is an employment specialist for LDS Employment and I am a writer. |
