Comments: We are currently serving on a humanitarian/service mission and sabbatical in Ghana West Africa in the city of Accra. We get to speak French to those coming in from surrounding countries where French is the common language.
We now have 15 grandchildren.
Met with Norm Solomon and spouse when we were back in Logan at Utah State University earlier this past fall.
Five children and twelve grandchildren so far. Ann (Stake Music Chair) and I (High Council) serve in the YSA 3rd Stake in Logan, Utah. We feel as though we have died and gone to heaven. Great to work with the young single adults.
Currently on the faculty at Utah State University in the Department of Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education (Audiology). Retired from US Army Medical Service Corps with 20 years service. Recently translated a technical manual for a manufacturer wishing to promote a product in France and Canada.
Would enjoy corresponding with former missionaries from La Mission Française.
For fun I serve as the managing director of a newly-formed 270-voice choir (American Festival Chorus) under the direction of Brother Craig Jessop who used to conduct the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. What a blast! I do not play violin, but on rare occasion. Gave my violin to our granddaughter (17 year old).
For many years conducted Handel's Messiah (100 voice choir and 50 piece orchestra). |
