I live in Logandale NV, about an hour north of Las Vegas. I've worked at BYU for over 29 years. I'm the Controller for Student Academic & Advisement Services (SAAS). I have one of the longer commutes (about 5 hours). Actually, I'm gone from home only 3 nights. My wife, Becky, teaches 3rd grade in Logandale. Our son, Garry graduated from BYU with his Masters of Information Systems Management. His wife, Heidi, and 3 boys and 2 girls live in Colorado Springs, CO. Our daughter, Heidi (that's right - a daughter and daughter-in-law with the same name) owns the condo next door to me in Provo, UT. She is a licensed hair stylist and master esthetician. She currently is pursuing a college degree through Western Governors University. I've served as a counselor in the bishopric, bishop, high counselor, ward mission leader, stake mission president (twice), gospel doctrine teacher, Teachers Quorem advisor (3 times), and currently am serving as Ward Clerk. |
