I married Amy Heal in Dec 1997 in the SLC temple. I graduated from BYU in physics and math in 1998 and started graduate school in Biophysics at Washington University in St. Louis, living in the Lindell ward of the St. Louis South stake. In 2001, our first son, Isaak, was born. In 2003, I graduated with my Ph.D. and took a job at the National Institutes of Health studying voltage gated K+ ion channels. We're living in the Kensington Ward of the Washington DC Stake. In 2004, our first daughter, Adalynn, was born.
