Comments: I have been married for 27 years and have five children, three girls and two boys. We have lived in Ashland Oregon for the past 23 years, where I am Professor of French and Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. As a French professor, I've had several opportunities to return to France, and lived there with my family for two years from 1987-89 while I directed the Oregon study abroad programs in Poitiers and Lyon, and served as branch president in Poitiers. My second son just received his mission call and both of my sons have been called to California missions! Our youngest children are twins, and we are now empty nesters. My wife and I will be living in Angers, France from January to June 2005, while I teach on our study abroad progam there. |
