Comments:
After my mission, I returned to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver where I graduated from law school. Since then I have practiced law in Fort Langley, historic birthplace of British Columbia. I met my wife, Beth, at UBC and we were married in the Cardston Alberta Temple. We have four children: James, Jessica, Jennifer, and Jane. The three oldest are married in the temple. The youngest is 19 and not married yet. We have 7 grandchildren with number 8 on the way and due any day. I am the Ward Mission Leader and my wife is the Relief Society President. Our daughter, Jessica, who lives in our ward is the Young Women's President. We attend the Langley Ward. Our 3 other children have moved to Calgary, Alberta where I was born and raised. Our son James is a police officer with the Calgary Police Department. Our daughter, Jennifer, will graduate with a Nursing Degree from the University of Calgary in June, 2006. Our youngest daughter, Jane, is studying English and History at the University of Calgary.
While I served as Bishop I had an interview with Elder Neal A. Maxwell, as he was calling a new Stake President in our area. He asked me who my Mission President was and I responded, President Willis D. Waite. Elder Maxwell said he set President Waite apart as a Patriarch in the Rockford, Illinois Stake. He said he was a wonderful man. I agree. I thought what a fantastic memory Elder Maxwell had.
I would like to hear from anyone I served with in the France Paris Mission. Please send me an e-mail or give me a call.
Yours truly,

Robert B. Kearl
