Please note: Soeur Shannon Bauer - not registered on the "available list" - but my companion in Cergy.
My husband (Miguel), daughter (Elizabeth) and I are settled in Humble, TX - near Houston after a tumultuous two years. We evacuated from New Orleans two days before Hurricane Katrina. I was 9 months pregnant, and delivered Elizabeth in Houston. We then evacuated from Houston, with our 3 day old daughter- due to Hurricane Rita.
Our little family returned to New Orleans a month later, and lived in a FEMA trailer. Miguel helped with the reconstruction of New Orleans while I finished my last two classes at UNO, and "we" graduated May 2006 with a BSc in Biochemistry. I am a Business Manager for a technology company in The Woodlands and keep up my French and Spanish. (I am in the embarassing stage of learning Japanese.)
With all of the moving and chaos, I have lost contact information on everyone from my mission, but I wish to reconnect with "mes copeins" and learn about what everyone is doing nowadays. I would love to hear from everyone I served with in my districts and in the MTC!!
