Pagesjaunes.fr has a database of 2.2 million images of places in France, that you
can access at http://photos.pagesjaunes.fr/.
For the time being, the selection appears to be limited to major cities, but it does include Caen, Nantes, Paris, Rennes, and Versailles, which are in the mission, as well as several small towns in the Paris region. For example, the
institute building in Paris is at 12, rue St. Merri
and the Paris-Lilas ward is at 64-66, rue de Romainville.
The site is best viewed in 1024x768. The directions are in French, but "Ville" is
"city", "No." is "number", and "Rue" is "street".
The same site http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/
offers phone directories, both yellow pages (Pages Jaunes) and white pages
(Pages Blanches) for all of France.
