| I remember one of my first nights in the missionfield in Montreuil. The six of us were eating dinner and I remembered our zone leader, Elder Wilson say...."Sister so-and-so died the other day"... "it was sad to see her go". "it was sad too that Elder so-and-so died". Needless to say, I didn't know what to think. I must've had a look of horror on my face wondering why two missionaries had just died and for what reason. Not knowing the mission lingo yet made it even that much more difficult. As you all know, "died" meant that the missionary went home. I was pretty gullible as a new "BLEU". The seasoned missionaries sure got a laugh out of it. |
