Sister Natalie Farmer served in the GAM from 1989-1990. I lost contact with her years ago and haven't been able to find her. If anybody has any information on her whereabouts, I'd be very grateful.

If y'all have been wondering what President is up to, Governor Mike Leavitt hired President Stewart to head up the fight against nuclear waste being stored in Skull Valley. If you want to read some of the case, e-mail me and I will send you the most current story. I saw President and Sister Stewart at the reunion. They are doing well.

I was reading the newspaper and noticed that one of the POWs in the war is a Young from Lithia Springs. It's been long enough that I don't remember any first names of the Youngs that are members of the Lithia Springs ward. Does anyone happen to remember them or know if they are related to the POW?
|
|
I would also like to know if anyone happens to know where Kevin & M.J. Butler are.
Last I knew they were in College Park, in the Atlanta Ward.
|
|
Here's a problem: I'm in Finland, too poor to travel anywhere and totally lost contact with a certain MJ (Atlanta ward) who got married to a fellow by the name of Butler. If anyone knows anything about MJ, please contact me!

If anyone who served from '94-'97 is wondering what Pres. is up to, I heard him on the radio this morning. He is working as a special prosecutor in the Tom Green case. There was a brief soundbyte of him commenting on the case on KSL Newsradio on April 26th.

I am toying with the idea of organizing a 4th of July reunion of sorts at Lake Mead, NV. I will be out west at that time and would like to see folks. But first I am trying to determine the level of interest. If you would enjoy doing this let me know. Email me. Email anyone you know who isn't registered at this site and tell them to email me too. Obviously I'm looking for people from 96-98, but we don't have to restrict it to that! Let me know- mollytatro@hotmail.com

Recently, I keep either running into or getting email notices of brothers who served in the then Southern States Mission from 67-69. While waiting in line at the LDS Bookstore in Bellevue, WA, I overheard the mission and dates mentioned so I introduced myself to John Astell, who now lives in Kent, WA, about an hour's drive from me, in Lake Stevens, WA.
By email I was notified from this site of another brother, Elder Hardy, whose name I recognized. As soon as I dig out my old files, I am going to contact them and hopefully remember our shared acquaintences. Anybody out there who might have been a part of this group or remembers mission changes about this time period, please get in touch. None of us are getting any younger you know!

LDS QUOTE: |
"Brothers and sisters, the missionaries need our faith and prayers. Pray fervently every day for their safety and protection, for this is one very important way we all can support them in accomplishing their essential assignment of proclaiming the gospel to all the world. I bear testimony that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We are engaged in his work. I testify that through the faith and prayers of all members of the Church, we will continue moving this great work forward to the final victory. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
