Greetings. I served in the Germany Duesseldorf Mission from 1973 to 1975 under Presidents Poecker and Saager in Wuppertal, Moenchengladbach / Rheydt, and Gelsenkirchen / Gladbeck Westf. I loved that period of my life and reflect upon it often. My companions were Brent Hatch, Jeffrey Waldal, Craig Rasmussen, Wolfgang Maennchen, Mark Jones, Bruce Ewell, Brian Windsor, Keith Faust, and Richard Fitt. Speaking of companions, I've been married to Kathleen Karen Shaw of Claymont, Delaware for nearly 39 years. The day I entered the Mission Home in SLC, 01SEP73, was the date she was baptized and confirmed in Delaware as a 15 year old. We have four children and eight grandchildren. |
