Dear Editor...I was District Supervisor in Stuttgart under President Theordore M. Burton when South German Mission was created. President John Buehner called me to be his Second Counselor in the Mission Presidency, where I served until he became ill. I extended my mission for several months to work with his temporary replacement, President Bringhurst. Was released in April 1960. I worked in private and governmental nuclear activities including 13 years with the International Atomic Energy Agency, in Vienna, Austria. Upon retirement from the State Department, I served as the Cambodia, Phnom Penh Mission President from 2000-2003. When released we moved from Maryland to Sandy Utah. John P. Colton |
