We both have really good memories of our missions the spiritual experiences, the comps, the learning and even the trials. We loved Pres. Lake. He had the great combination of being a people's person as well as a spiritual man.
And no, President Lake, you did not do anything wrong that relatively many of the missionaries decided to have everlasting companionships with each other!
Elder Reiche and Schwester van der Leer (Kyle and Wendelien) now have 3 kids, 2 Birman cats, 2 degrees and a lot of rest to catch up on. However, Kyle was just called as Branch President to Wendelien's old branch, so there goes our sabbatical! It will be a great challenge though and we expect to grow spiritually. We cherish our mission memories.
