Though I left the church in 1979, I still hold very dear memories of my time in Germany. 1n 1980, became the American agent for Schneider cuckoo clocks. (I went bust in 1987 - never get your debt in German Marks when the exchange rate is 3.3!)
In 1985, went through a major life change. Married in 1987. Four daughters - Stephanie, Laurie (twins), Rachel, Grace. Homeschool dad.

It is the understanding of the maintainers of this website that Br. Works was tragically injured and lost two daughters in the terrible shootings in Colorado this week. Our sincerest condolences go out to the Works Family and all those affected by this awful act. May God comfort you in the time of need. Our prayers are with you.

Well, the above reference to the shootings is accurate. I fully recovered from my wounds fairly quickly. We have been in the process of rebuilding our family. It has been an amazing journey. We were approached by a publisher to write a book which will be out in january 2009. |
