I have been blessed with a wonderful temple marriage of 31 years and have five wonderful children (3 daughters, 2 sons).
One son, Jeff, completed his mission in Paris, France in 2006 and was married in the Boise Temple to his wonderful wife in March 2008. We have one son-in-law who is a submariner in the US Navy and his wife, Katie, our oldest daughter, is raising their three boys. Two other daughters (Rachel and Becki) are working (Becki is married and has three girls) and our youngest son, Jared, has just had his mission papers sent in and we are expecting his call very soon (as of Feb 2009).
We have a total of six grandkids and they're GREAT! What a blessing and sweet spot in life. I am looking forward to retirement in about 5 years and to spedning a lot more time with them in between missions Gail and I plan to go on.
I am currently serving as an assistant in our High Priest group here in Emmett, ID, and have served as counciler to two Bishops, Elder's Quorum President, YM President, Ward Mission Leader, scout leader, and as a primary teacher. I have been involved in a varied engineering career, am politically active, and have authored a fictional techno-thriller series called, "The Dragon's Fury Series" (www.dragonsfuryseries.com). I currently work for the U.S. Federal Government. |
