The Cannons served after the Buehners and before the Gardners. There appears to be a bug in the mission dB code, and they are listed after the Gardners now.

Pres. Cannon lived a very full life. He was a missionary himself in Germany and served for many months alone. Pres. Gardner was mission president of the South German Mission when the Stuttgart Stake was organized in '61. Both mission presidents returned for the 25th anniversary celebration of Pfahl Stuttgart in October 1986. I was in Esslingen at the time and there were still many members who had kept contact with him over the years.
