On the 30th October 2004 the Relief society Women's Conference Wellington/Freetown Districts had a combined conference.
Dont be surprised to know that since the church was formed in this part of West Africa-Sierra Leone this is the First time such conferences had occured.
Theme:FAMILIES CAN BE TOGETHER FOREVER
On this particular day Sisters were so overwhelmed to see each other especially Returned Missionares. I was opportune to talk to the Second counselor in the Ghana Accra Mission-President Thomas-He has Twelve (12) Missionaries in Sierra Leone With HIM. One Zimbawe,Ivorian,two Sierra Leoneans and the rest are Nigerians.
In his tet to tet with him;he he bring about the idea of comfort, guidance, training, teach families and to serve people in the various communities they are and the churh.He was in an overwhelming mood.This conference as he says is an annually one.He further said it is to talk about issues and training and to perform duties.
Again i talk one of the District President in the Freetown District-He said this conference is hold to make friendshipping ,interraction and knowing each other in the districts,so that the church will grow.

I was able to hear from the Freetown Relief Society President -President Constance Brima-Jah, talk of one goal in the church and as sisters in Christ.
A sister has to read there goal/theme.
There was a workshop which they divide themselves into four groups as follows:
Eternal Marriage - Kumba Kalilu
Magnify Thy Calling- Zainab Kallon
Making Family Home Evening Even Better - Patricia Davies
Nurturing our Children in the Gospel - Princess SAmba
The abovce topics were discussed at various times at rotational order for a time of 15 minutes.
