| Comments: Hello Everybody, I went back to Athens for work. I was very surprised how much better it is now. Athens is getting more modern and the church there is progressing! I met the missionaries and the new mission president. I stayed in Kifisia and I have opportunities to see the beautifull chapel in Halandri. Just when I got to the airport in Athens the taxi driver wanted to charge me $100 just to take me to Athens. He thought that I was american, so it was good to know the greek language and to put the price down to $15. At the custom when I left Athens the lady who control my passeport could not believe that I was french and the passeport I had was my passeport. So I had to get out my credit card to show my name to her. I thought that this greeks are so xenophobic! Fortunately not all of them are like this. They live all around the world! I talked to the Greek Ambassador in Paris and Brussels. Anyway I love this people and hope the best for them. ENjoy all your summer fredrick Payet | |
