Comments:
I am glad that this site is here, I still think about times in the mission field almost daily. Currently I am living in Cedar City, Utah with my wife Shelley, our children Jourdyn McKell (18), Dayton Richard (16), Tanner Russell (13), and last but certainly not least Madisyn Chandra (daughter) (10). We have been living here in southern Utah now for the past 4 years. Since my mission I have worked for a screen printing and embroidery company (1985-2001) and now work for a decor and sign company. I also do a lot of free-lance. Our life is blessed by many wonderful friends and neighbors here in Cedar City. We are still in an ongoing experience of dealing with our oldest daughter's cancer. Jourdyn has large cell anaplastic lymphoma and is now on her 3rd bout with it. She is such an example of courage and faith I can hardly even contain my emotions at times when I think of her. Believe me we have seen the Lord's hand in all of this over the past 3 years. My life is great, my wife is wonderful and our children keep us young. We also have a great home and we share it with two fun loving little Chihuahuas Bruiser (male) black and white and Hershey (female) chocolate brown. The gospel means everything to me! I hope by putting this alumni information on line I can get back in touch with many of you whom I grew to know and love wile serving in the greatest mission on the face of this planet, the Guatemala, Quetzaltenango mission. Saludos a todos esas personas, Presidente Juan Manuel Cedeno, Presidente George Perez, Elder Richard W. Jones, Elder Nestor Lopez, Hermana Silva, Hermana Cindy Garcia, Hermana Depew, Hermana Forsyth, Hermana Bell, Elder Ted Luymes, Elder Joe Brough, Elder Jerry Caldwell and many, many others that I could mention but my brain is not what it used to be. Remember, el sabor primaveral de Guatemala! Oy! La utz whachalal? In bin puro utz en ronojel uleu!
