Soon after my mission, I married my high school sweetheart (who waited for me after I waited for him), and we now have 7 children. I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in English and French and Secondary Education. We have lived in Wisconsin, Colorado, Utah, and have recently moved to Missouri. My oldest son served a mission in Australia, and my second son just began a mission in California. I love teaching Seminary and working outside in my vegetable and flower gardens.
I'm so grateful for wonderful mission memories of great companions and friends in each of my areas. A few great memories include playing tennis at the allumette (match) factory--a court without lines and chain link for a net, our trip up to the Citadel, choir programs in Delmas and Petionville, opening the new chapel in Gonaives, trying to get out of Bas Delmas with gunfire all around us.... |
