About a year after I completed my mission, I was called back and, with the Presiding Bishopric's Office out of Puerto Rico, constructed some chapels for the members. The chapels in Fontamara, Petionville, Jacmel, and Leogane were construction projects under my direction. I also had the opportunity to work with other international agencies on various construction projects while I was Haiti. It was a very meaningful and fulfilling time for me.
Later, I went into law enforcement as a Sheriff's Deputy in Sacramento, California. I was a Field Investigator for awhile. It was very rewarding, but I moved on with my goals. Which led me to becoming a Network Engineer for MCI. After 5 years, I was laid off due to the downsizing of that industry. I then did some work as a Bail Agent. But I found myself wanting something else.
Now I'm back where I began...as a carpenter. I remodel kitchens and bathrooms in the San Francisco bay area. My wife and I are very happy. Please feel free to drop a line.
