Comments: I've been a professor at BYU for ten years now in the Microbiology and Molecular Biology Department. It's been a lot of fun teaching Advanced Molecular Biology and Genomics and doing research on gene regulation and chromatin architecture with the outstanding BYU students. I even had Chuck Peterson's (and Gayla's) son in one of my classes last year. I had a student with the last name of Nebeker signed up for one of my classes, but he dropped before the semester started (was he related to you Pete?).
I'm thinking about going to the Haiti Temple open house in August. I figure the dedication is for the Haitian members, and I wouldn't want to take a spot there, but the open house would be almost as fun. I'd love to attend the cultural celebration the night before the dedication, but the open house and dedication are two weeks apart. Is anyone else thinking about going?
