Some of you may know my story.
I left Hungary after serving there for about 14 months. I went to Vienna, and from there to the California Anaheim Mission (about 45 minutes from my home). Heaven knows I wondered at the time why it all happened. But soon after I arrived in Anaheim, a Hungarian family also arrived. They had become good friends with the Elders' Quorum President in one of the wards, and were staying with them. By way of a former companion, I was notified, and got to meet and teach this wonderful family. They were taught all of the discussions in their native language, and shortly after Gurzo Zoli and Hajni were baptized (their little son Martin will be in about 5 years). I don't wonder so much any more.
And now I'm marrried, and back living in Budapest with my wife, working for McKinsey and Company! |
