So, a lot has happened. I got married on May 27th. Then we moved to Noth Dakota at the beginning of July. Now I just found out I'm pregnant.(Not really, that would be way too much to have happen in one summer.)
We are here in North Dakota for Soren (my hubby) to go to school. The University of North Dakota is one of the few colleges that offers his major (Geological Engineering) and they have the second best program in the country. I'm going to finish up college here too. I'm about a year and a half away from finishing. I just have to take a few more classes for my major in history and some education classes for my teaching credentials.
We live in a small town called Grand Forks (by North Dakota standards it's a big city). It is continuing to be an adjustment living here. People have a completly different way of looking at things. It's fun hearing the accent though.
Our ward has a good number of people. However, the boundaries are huge. Some people have to drive over an hour to get to church. I'm hoping that while we are here we can help the ward to grow and become stronger. |
