Well, It's been a crazy life since the mission. Coming home early was a real disappointment, (knee surgery) but I found so many great ways to serve at home. I met my wife while working in Waterton Lakes National Park and we have been married since '99. We have a daughter born '02 now named Mailei and a son named Jalen born in '04, both are such a blessing in our home. Our third child, a girl, will be born Sept '07. Professionally, I guess I caught the bug from Fack on the mission because I too am a filmmaker. I have a BFA in New Media and completed my MFA in Media Production & Studies in April '07. I am a Digital Media Professor at Montana Tech University and I have my own production company, producing feature length films. What am doing in the church? Well I was the First Counsellor in the Elder's Quorum for a while, served on the activities comittee and taught the 9 year olds in the primary, served as the Stake Executive Secretary and then back in Primary with the 12 year old boys...and, of course, home teaching. drop me a line: olsen@northboundstudios.com |
