My mission wasn't what I expected. I grew in ways that I thought was impossible. Many times I fell to my knees in tears. Each day seemed hard to bear if I wasn't fully devoted to the work, but when I was- the days flew by. I found that when the time had come to go home- it was a relief but it hurt more than anything. The friendships I made I believe would last and that was the thing that made it endurable. I am glad that I took my time to serve the Lord. I don't know how my life would have turned out if I hadn't gone- but I do know that I am better because I did. |
