Comments: My name is Steve Hatch. I served in the Ireland Mission from June 1972 to June in Glengormely and then was transferred to Newtownards. then I was called to be the President's Secretary and moved into the mission home at Redhill. I served in the mission home for about 7 months as President's Secretary and then as Mission Recorder. After that I was called as District Leader in Lisburn. After that I was called as President's Assistant for about 4 months with Elder Allen and then put out to pasture for my last few months in Londonderry. It has been 25 years but I finally got back to Ireland May 1998 with my wife and a friend. It was a wonderful visit retracing a mission tour that Elder Allen and I had made. We visited and stayed with Irene Duddy and her parents now moved to Portstewart and with Raymond Lowry and his family in Lisburn. Wonderful friends. I work for Hewlett Packard as a Software Engineer following 8 years of college at BYU and live in my native town of Boise Idaho. I work in a groupt that builds | |
