| Comments: I live with my wife Ximena in Layton, Utah, where we moved after living in Cache Valley for nearly 25 years. We have four children. My oldest son Jared served in the California Ventura mission under President David Henderson (who, incidentally, served in Ireland in the 1960s). I earned a BS in journalism and an MS in American Studies from Utah State University. I worked in USU's international office for a dozen years. I've also owned a small business and have worked as a hunting consultant and freelance writer. I now work for Weber State Univeristy in Continuing Education. I've spent most of my church service in scouting and the young men's program. My work and personal interests have allowed me to China, Hong Kong, India, Chile, Peru, Singapore, Panama, Argentina, and a half dozen other countries. The most enjoyable trip, however, was a return to Ireland in Sept. 2005. If you've been back to Ireland, you know what I mean. If you've not been back to Ireland, do it! You won't regret it. | |
