Comments:
Ciao Tutti, I started with Jeremy Meiers/Ken Mays (La Spezia), Miles Hall, Ross Hutchings, Brett Staples, Michael Farnes (Torino), David Vicciarelli (Padova), Mission office as Printer with Robert Chipman, Clifford Perona, Brad Logan, and finally Jeff Nordgren and Phillip Mayer (Brescia). My mission was wonderful, full of the Spirit, a life changing experience.

I returned to Italy about 2 years later to get my masters degree in fine art conservation and, again loved being submerged in Italy. After I graduated, the BYU Dept. of Art called offering me a position to set up a conservation lab to prepare the Permanent Art Collection at BYU and the historical collection of art of the Church for the future openings of their museums. I was at BYU for about 5 1/2 years before returning home to So. Calif. and settling in Santa Barbara in 1984. We've been here ever since. I have a private practice for art conservation and I run an e-commerce business, a spin-off from my expertise in preservation and emergency preparedness.

My wife Diana and I have 7 children and 8 grandchildren. She promotes/organizes humanitarian efforts for orphans in Afghanistan.

The most predominant calling I've held is my service in the Priest Quorum/ YM pres. for the last 20 years (piu'o meno). The funnest job was being part of the Italian Branch Presidency in the MTC for a couple of years. I have loved building Zion in any capacity. My fire has always burned bright.

I don't imagine "retiring" but plan to stay active, creative and on the move. Heaven Father has blessed us with prosperity in our flocks and fields and in our family and home. We love his work and his ways. We recognize and thank him for his hand in our lives. Stimatissimi fratelli e sorelle, auguri a tutti voi che possa il Signore benedirci di essere sempre preparati in casa e in spirito.
Con amore, vostro fratello, Anziano Haskins
