My granddaughter, Sorella Quincy Oakes is serving in the Italy, Milan mission. She arrived today (California time). We have a grandson in China, Hong Kong, a grandson in Poland Warsaw mission, one going to Chili Vina del Mar, and one leaving in December to Brazil Belo Horizante.
I am grateful for these wonderful GRANDchildren's choices to serve the Lord. I know Jesus Christ stands at the head of this, His church, leads and guides it through living prophets, seers, and revelators. Our current prophet is Thomas S. Monson.
I am a convert. I cherish my testimony that the Bible and the Book or Mormon testify of the coming of Jesus Christ, His life, His techings and ministry, His atoning sacrifice for each of us. If we repent, keep our covenants, we may live with our Father and His Son, Jesus Christ forever. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and ascended into Heaven. He will come again in glory and I am striving to become as much like Him as I can. |
