Got married in 2004 to a wonderful woman from Macau, China. Proof that I served diligently! [scherzando!] If you ever have a chance to see Macau, do it. Being a Portuguese city since the 17th century, it's the only place in Asia that will remind you of Italy.
Returned last year from working/studying in Beijing and Hong Kong. Was really excited to pick out a Veronese accent in Beijing, but when I approached the person he teased me because I mixed Chinese and Italian. Conversation wasn't as warm as I had expected, but I'm proud I can still pick out accents like that!
I've finally finished with law school (dottore, dottore...) and we had a boy in late August 07. |
