Comments: I've lived in Loveland, Colorado since 1988. I completed a mechanical engineering degree in 1986 and was offered a job with Hewlett-Packard Company. They moved us to Arlington, WA (about 90 minutes north of Seattle) where we spent two years.
HP announced the business was moving to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1988. We wanted the job, and Fort Collins was closer to Coleen's family in Arizona, and closer to my family in Utah, so we happily made the move. We have lived there ever since.
My division of HP was spun off as a wholly owned subsidiary in 1996, and was taken private in 2000 as CoCreate Software. In 2007 CoCreate was purchased by Parametric Technology Corporation.
I'm the R&D manager for the Fort Collins team of programmers, testers, and the virtual customer.
I've served in various church callings, including 11 year old Scout leader (1 year?), early morning Seminary teacher (6 years), Scoutmaster (2 years?), Bishop (6 years), stake and ward missionary (2 years), and as a member of the high council (3 years).
Coleen and I have 8 children. |
