I have been home now for over 12 years ... ouch! My wife (Rebecca) and I have 3 kids. Meagan (11), Camden (9), and Kaleb (6). It is a strange feeling to have baptized two of my own kids.
After many years of corporate management I decided to get my law degree. In August of 2007 my family and I moved to Indiana to attend Valparaiso University School of Law.
At times the mission misses me, especially since we had a Ghanian family in our ward. I have eaten real sauce grain, arachide, and foutou recently ... yum!
Recently I spoke at Columbia University in New York on issues of war in West Africa. I had dinner with several people from Cote d'Ivoire and Sierra Leone. It was quite a nostalgic and wonderful experience. |
