B.A. in Japanese from BYU in 1991 (minor in English) worked for a couple years in Los Angeles and San Francisco in the Japanese travel industry MBA from The Amos Tuck School (Dartmouth College) in New Hampshire 1995 two years of strategy consulting in the Bay Area (at Accenture) followed by work at three successive software/internet startups -- about 2 years at each: Onyx Software (Bellevue, WA), FlipDog.com (Provo, UT), Ancestry.com (Provo, UT).
