I was married to Keiko Nakatani in December 1994 in the Portland Oregon Temple. Those of you from the mission remember her as Nakatani Shimai. In December 1998, I graduated from BYU-Hawaii with a degree in International Business Management and Economics. So naturally, I became a police officer for the Seattle Police Department...go figure. Keiko and I have a beautiful 5-year-old girl named Kaytlin Shino. She is a bundle of joy and keeps us busy. Keiko's family is in Gifu, Japan, and we try to make it back yearly or every other year.
