I loved my mission with all my heart. I look back on those days daily with fondness, and not a single regret. I feel that I served with some of the greatest missionaries ever to Thrash the Nations. That we served under a truly powerful and wise President Gottfredson, who received revelation upon revelation for all of us and then executed as an outstanding servant of our Heavenly Father. I learned so much from my President, my fellow missionaries who I had the sacred honor of serving with, and my holy and loving Heavenly Father. Those were two years that cannot ever be duplicated ever in the many eternities to come. I and we will never again be a nineteen year old boy with another young man the same age, in Japan, riding bikes in rainstorms, with a Book of Mormon in my bag trying and succeeding at finding people to teach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Life will move on to greater and grander missions, but those two years will forever be sacred as the ones where it was just a couple good young men trying to be servants of Jesus Christ, in that beautiful land in the far east. What a blessing!
