Due to circumstances beyond my control I no longer have access to my mission photos or diary, anyone willing to share photos, slides, etc. please let me know. I would love to hear from my old companions again. Isn't it interesting how small a world can be. As I left my last apartment in Komatsu for the mission office, Brad Rowley from my home ward was coming to the same apartment I was leaving to be my last companion's new companion. It turns out that Teddy Dean Blacker is the nephew of Dick Wheeler (used to be my home teacher, Jr. High principal, Bishop, and member of the stake presidency) and the nephew of Ben Wheeler who is in my current ward. Masayo Wilbur is also in my ward and knew Elder Kikuchi and President Tanaka when they were younger and she was a new convert.
I am now working for the county maintaining electronic/security equipment. I have worked for Intel, my own propane delivery service, the U.S. Navy (missile technician U.S.S. Florida), and several other technical companies.
I have 2 boys who live in Oregon with their mother (my ex). I am now married to Mlee and have a step-son Jamie (15).
I like 4-wheeling, guns, computers, and ham radio (about to get my old licence back).
I have served in several capacities including Lay Leader (a stake position similar to an Elders Quorum President on a submarine)Ward Missionary, the Primary and Young Men's Presidency several times. I am currently the first counselor (Varsity Coach) in the Young Men's Organization in the Scottsdale Arizona Stake, Coronado Ward. |
