Still hanging out in San Diego's North County Area. Can't beat living near the beach, but still able to see the snow in the mountains from our house. Tough Life. Anyway, Third Quarter's score...Boys 3 (Micah Alan, Ethan Kiyoshi, and Gavin Takeshi), Girls 0. Hubby, Alan Lewellen, (also served in same mission) and I both graduated from BYU '95 (Chemical Engineering & FamSc). Alan is currently serving in the Vista 8th ward's Bishopric as 1st Counselor. I'm a full-time Homemaker and currently serving as a Primary Counselor. I've also been recycled back into the Cub Scouting program as a Bear Den Leader. WooHoo!
Anyway, serving a mission was the most challenging and hardest thing I've ever done. (Lotsa fun memories, too, of course). It definitely strengthened and made my testimony of the Gospel that I have today. I thank Heavenly Father for that! Dendo even taught me that Duct tape is a versatile way of hemming up a skirt. |
