Comments:
Nathan entered the MTC on Feb. 15th, so ready and pumped up to go and serve our Heavenly Father. He will be a outstanding missionary and will do all he can to serve the people of Japan.

May 1, 2006 - Nathan flew to Japan with his two companions, Elder's Zobell and Bennett. Grandma Hill visited them at the SLC airport and she said they were so excited, they could hardly stand still. We got to talk to Nathan on Mother's day, after having been in Japan for 14 days. He is serving in the city of Hakodate with Elder Teran as his trainer and he absolutely loves it. He loves the half-price sushi (sold after 8pm in the grocery stores), he thinks the squatter toliets are "interesting" (to say the least), and he loves the heated toliet seats. Apparently he and his companion are the only people in the city who wear bike helmets and who ride their bikes fast. He says he is slowly learning how to understand the people, but says he spent his first Sunday at church having his own 3 hour personal scripture study. He loves the people he has met so far and loves being able to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
