1995 Urakawa - Inaka Dendo
Ito choro (left) and I were quite surprised how different dendo was in Urakawa which consists of maybe 3 mountain canyons of residential neighborhoods running perpendicular to its downtown machi along the shoreline. So this home is toward the top of one of those canyons. This was taken approximately in April and so you can guess it's still pretty cold (seeing our coats) even though the snow has melted.
