1994 Asahikawa - Postcard shot of Biei2
The area called Biei is in the middle of the island between Asahikawa and Furano. The area is known for its unpopulated and untouched beauty. By far, it's the most beautiful area on the entire island. I was fortunate to drive through on a Buch-approved P-day out to the flower fields of Furano while I was serving in Suehiro. All our dendo exhaustion, worries, stress, and anxieties seemed to go away that day. These shots are used a lot as images of Hokkaido's best.
